Do you know how to use the facebook “like” button and the facebook and twitter “share” buttons?
If not, this isn’t something to be ashamed of. I believe that most people still don’t completely know how to use them effectively.
Let’s start off with what they are…
The facebook “like” button
- Facebook came up with a creative way for people to “like” people, business’s, or just about any information on the internet. Anytime that you click a “like” button you will show up in that person or business’s “like” category of their page. It will also be posted to your wall that you “liked” that page, person, or business. You may think that this is a small insignificant thing, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. For a lot of people and business’s you “liking” their page (or information) can create the momentum that can help them succeed in their online market place. What does this mean? Anytime that you see a “like” button near something that you actually like, hit the button so you can help spread the word or work of that person or business.
The facebook and twitter “share” buttons
- The facebook and twitter “share” buttons do exactly what they sound like they do, they share information with your friends and followers. When you click the “share” button on a blog post or article a window will pop up on your screen asking you to confirm that you want to share that information with your friends (facebook) or followers (twitter). Again, this is a very important thing for people and business’s, so if you have the chance to “share” something that you enjoyed reading or learning about make sure you ALWAYS DO! You never know who might be one of your friends or followers that can help that person or business get to the next step in life or business. Always be sharing good information when you can!
What should you take away from this?
- “Liking” and “sharing” information is a must do! You may not think that just posting something to your facebook wall or twitter profile is that big a deal, but for most bloggers and business owners it’s a HUGE deal, and they will absolutely love you for “liking” or “sharing” their information with your network!
