How to create business without talking about business

I was just reading through a great post about getting new business that got me thinking… The post was titled Building a business relationship, and something that really hit home with me (and that I want to share with you) was that business relationships are the strongest if you connect with people on a personal level.

We talk about this all the time in our social media business, but it truly applies to all personal interaction. People that you interact with should know what you do, but other than that the connection that you have with them should be on personal things that you both are interested in. Here are some things that we’ve found that have made a HUGE impact on our business success.

I was put on the Lasix med and I became extremely confused and I was at home. So weak I could hardly get out of bed. 2 weeks later I was changed to Furosemid for 2 weeks with the same effect, just not quite so severe. I quit all this type of med and within 20 hours I could tell a difference. I even did some grocery shopping today. The first time in 4 weeks I was exhausted to say the least but at least I was able to do it. No I didn’t carry them in https://www.ab-dent.com/lasix-product-technology/, no have to them put away. But I was able to do it. I can’t wait to see the progress tomorrow. So in conclusion be attentive.

Friends

Making sure that you have friends first and business associates second will keep your business strong for as long as you want. Someone who trusts you as a friend will be the first person to do business with you, or refer business to you whenever the opportunity arrises. Think about it… wouldn’t you do just about anything to help a good friend out whenever you can?

Giving

This is an awesome point that was highlighted in the Building a business relationship! If you give first you will ALWAYS end up receiving! BUT the kicker is that you can’t give in order to receive. Just give! Give information, give a helping hand, give a testimonial, give a referral, give a smile! Trust me when I tell you, it will come back to you over and over. Not to mention it ALWAYS FEELS BETTER TO GIVE THAN RECEIVE! If you don’t believe this then you’ve been giving from the wrong place.

Ask

After you’ve created great relationships don’t be shy about asking for business from your friends. If you never ask a lot of times people/friends won’t know that you’re looking for more business. I’ve even asked for business and had people respond by saying that they didn’t realize that I needed anymore business. As if you can ever have enough. So just realized that referring you business isn’t usually on people’s minds unless you let them know.
